66th Independence Day was celebrated in the Vidyalaya campus on 15th Aug 2012.

Investiture ceremony was held on 14th August 2012. Captains were distributed Badges during the ceremony.

School Level Science Exhibition was organised for both Secondary and Senior Secondary students on 15th of Oct - 2010

Modelling titled "Mathophyte" by T. Niharika of class IXB got selected in the Regional level Science exhibition held at KV Steel Plant.

"Bal Divas" was celebrated on 14th-Nov-2012 in the Vidyalaya. On This Occasion primary children participated in Fancy Dress Competition and a Community lunch was organized.

29th Annual Sports Day celebration held at Vidyalaya on 29-11-2012

KVS Foundation Day Celebrated in Vidyalaya on 15th-Dec-2012. The Occasion was celebrated with various Cultural Programmes, Prize Distribution , Celebrating Grand-Parent's Day and conducting a TLM Exhibition

Vidyalaya celebrated its 29th Annual Day on 18th of Decemeber 2012. Various Cultural activities were organised for the event. Many student achievers were awarded by Chief Guest on this occasion.

Vidyalaya celebrated the ending of National Year of Mathematics with full enthusiasm. Many programs were organized on the occasion. Moreover Children also celebrated eve of Christmas and Pongal. Students presented speeches and cultural programs related to Mathematics. Many facts and achievements about famous mathematician Sh. Ramanujan were recited before students.

Mrs. Sanju Kumari , Phy. Edu. Teacher received Regional Incentive Award at a ceremony at KVS Regional Office , Bhubaneshwar.

Swami Vivekananada 150th Birth Anniversary was celebrated in the Vidyalaya on 16th-Jan-2013. On this occasion Children enacted as Swamiji and presented speeches about him. A portrait was also garlanded on this occasion.

Annual Academic Supervision was conducted in Vidyalaya on 21-01-2013. The team comprised of Sh. S.K Chopdar , Asst. Commissioner , KVS RO , BBSR and five principals from other Vidyalayas.

Vidyalaya Celebrated 64th Republic Day with full enthusiasm. Parents , Children and Staffs attended the flag hoisting.

Mock-Drill for fire fighting training was conducted in Vidyalaya on 13-02-2013.

• Summative assesment1 for classes III to X will commence from 13-09-2010 as per KVS specifications

• One day workshop for T.G.Ts'(Work Experience) on C.C.E was conducted in the Vidyalaya on 6-09-2010. Work Experience Teachers from different Vidyalayas of the Hyderabad Region attended the course.Dr.C.V.Narasimham, Principal, Ramanadh Secondary School, All NSTL, V.M.C. Member and nodal In-charge of C.B.S.E. affiliated Schools of Vizag cluster inaugurated the work shop after invocation. Chief guest Sri.C.V.Narasimham explained the participants about the objectives of CCE and familiarized the participants with the terms related to C.C.E. Sri.M.Subramaniam Principal, K.V.No-2 & Director of the course explained about life skills, role of T.G.T(W.E) in C.C.E , tools and formats and descriptive indicators of C.C.E. Resourse person Sri.J.Srinivasu explained about the format of progress report, grading system for all areas , grading system with descriptive indicators for Work Experience.

• Teachers day was celebrated in the Vidyalaya in a grand manner.The Principal and the teachers offered Prayers to Dr.Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan .Teachers presented various items in the morning assembly

 

• As a part of the CCE students of the vidyalaya were divided in to 4 groups.Group1 (Class-III to V), Group 2( Class VI-VIII), Group 3(Class-IX-X) and Group 4(Class-XI-XII). They presented songs, skits and dances to showcase their talents as a part of the Janmastami celebrations.

 

• Hindi pakhwada fortnight was inaugurated on 1st September formally by Principal Sri M.Subramaniam.  Sri.B.Ramachandra Rao, P.G.T(Hindi) explained about the importance and and usage of Hindi. Prograames for the fortnight got planned and they are being conducted by the Hindi Committee in the Vidyalaya.

 

• Rajeev Vashist P.G.T(Comp Sc) of this Vidyalaya transferred to K.V.No-1, Tirupati on 21-08-2010

 

• The 64th Independence day was celebrated in grand manner. Retd. Professor. Smt.V.Gowri Rammohan was the Chief guest. Certificates of appreciation were awarded to the teachers who got good result in C.B.S.E-2010 X & XII examinations.The Primary news letter was released the Chief Guest on the Day. Cultural programmes on the theme of Independence were showcased on the stage.The Chief Gust Smt. V.Gowri Rammohan spoke on the relevence of of strong student teacher relation ship.

 

• Tritiya Sopan testing camp was conducted from 10-08-2010 to 13-08-2010..Sri.M.Subramaniam, Principal K.V.No-2 was the Venue Director.Sri.G.A.Narasimham, Principal K.V.No-1 was the Camp Director and Sri.G.V.Subrahmanyam was the leader of the camp. Sri.S.V.J.Swami Retd.Professor was the Chief Guest for the inaugural function on 12-09-2010.137 scouts from 18 Kendriya Vidyalayas of the Vishakhapatnam district  attended the camp and learned various Scouting concepts. C.I.S.F unit gave demonstration on tent pitching. Grand camp fire was conducted on 12-08-2010.Sri.C.V.Narasimham Principal, Ramanadh Secondary Was the Chief Guest.  Sri.G.A.Narasimham Scouts camp Director, Smt.A.Padmavathy Guides camp Director and other dignitaries attended for the grand camp fire. Scouts & Guides from different Kendriya Vidyalayas gave colorful cultural programmes. Chief Guest Sri.C.V.Narasimham in his inspired speech encouraged all the Scouts & Guides and explained the values of Scouting moment. Valedictory function was conducted on 13-08-2010 in K.V.No-1,SVN. Dr.A.Rama Rao Ex-Vice Chancellor of Krishna Devaraya University was the Chief Guest. The camp had come an end with the flag lowering ceremony.

 

• The first V.M.C meeting was held on 6th August 2010. It was presided over by the  Cmde.P.J.Sudhir, C.O I.N.S.Satavahana & Chairman of V.M.C .The following points were reviewed and discussed. C.B.S.E-X & XII Results, grading system, C.C.E, Action plan to improve the quality and quantity of results, staff position, Admissions & students enrolment and V.V.N. Budget estimates/proposals.

 

• Mr.Madeena Malik ,Mr.A. Sreenivasa Rao ,Mrs.P.Savitri & Mrs.Naseema Jelani represented the group leaders work shop held at K.V.No-1 Vijayawada from 1-08-2010 to 4-08-2010.

 

• Master.I.B.S.Dinesh and Kum.Priyanka sahoo participated in the Rajyapuraskar testing camp held at K.V.No-1 & No-2 dehu road, Pune.(Mumbai region).The entire Hyderabad region Scouts(23 Scouts) were guided by Sri.G.V.Subrahmanyam.

 

• 3 Scouts & 6 guides escorted by Sri.G.V.Subrahmanyam participated in the Pre Rajyapuraskar testing camp held at K.V.AFS Begumpet from 19-07-2010 to 21-07-2010.Master.I.B.S.Dinesh and Kum.Priyanka sahoo were selected for Rajya puraskar testing camp.

 

• Experts from Prajapita Brahma Kumari Eswariya Vidyalayam ,New colony Visakhapanam are conducting yoga Classes for the children in the Vidyalaya.

• Vidyalaya reopened on 21 June 2010.Completed formative Assessment-1 for Secondary Classes and Unit test-1 for Primary classes

 

• First phase of in-service course for primary teachers was inaugurated on 3rd May 2010 by Dr.C.V.Narasimham, Principal,Ramanadh Secondary School & V.M.C.member of kv2 SVN.Lt.Sampath Kumar Charman nominee And Sri.G.A.Narasimham, Principal,K.V-1,S.V.N attended the work shop.51 Primary teachers from different Schools are taking part in the course.

• Annual day was celebrated on 29-04-10.Capt.PJ.Sudhir was the Chief Guest  of the Programme.

• Earth day was celebrated on 22-04-10.   PROGRAMME SCHEDULE, Photographs

• Vidyalaya declared annual result for classes I-IX and for class XI on 29-03-10.Mrs.C.R.Rama laxmi, V.M.C.member gave prizes to toppers of the each section.

• Thinking Day was celebrated on 22/2/2010 ,Capt.PJ.Sudhir was the Chief Guest  of the Programme

• 75 Students of Class XI and 5 escort teachers went for the excursion  on 11/2/2010 to Aaraku & Burracaves.

• 150 students of Class X and 6 escort teachers  visited the Historical and Scientifically important places in Visakhapatnam.Red mud hills ,totlakonda(Buddha Temple),Kailasagiri,Visakha Museum and submarine etc on 2/2/2010.

• V A & C students went for excursion on 29/1/2010 to Indira Gandhi Zoopark along with 03 Escorts.

• Prof.A.Ramalinga Sastry,(Retd) professor Chemistry Engineering Department, Andhra University was the Chief Guest of Republic Day.

• Vocational Guidance for class XII(commerce) students to enter in to Bachelor of Accounts & Finance  was arranged by the experts of Gayatri Vidya Parishad Degree College on 25th Jan 2010.Students interacted with experts and cleared their doubts.

• Educational Trip:  95 students of class XII  of Commerce & Science along with escort teachers have gone for education trip to Bhimili and other Geographically Significant places today i.e 23/1/2010 on two buses.

• Parent teacher Meeting was conducted on 11/012010 on Awareness of CCE and Reduction of weight of school bag for class IX . 100 parents attended the meeting.

• Computer Lab is inaugurated by Lt. Sampath Kumar M SEDO and Chairman Nominee on 1st Jan, 2010.

• IInd phase of in service course for Primary Teachers from 23-12-09 to 1-01-2010 started on 23rd December. 53 teachers participated.

• On 17th December, 2009 II nd Vidyalaya management Committee meeting was held

• The parent teachers meeting was held on 30th November, 2009 from 9 AM to 11.45 AM

• The following students(05 Girls & 06 Boys) went to Cubs & Bulbuls Utsav  held at KV Nallapadu,Guntur from 25th to 27th nov2009 along with the escort teachers Smt.V.NagaSrevalli,PRT and Shri.I.Sreenivasa Rao.

                                       

• 2^nd Panel inspection conducted on 6-11-09 by Shri.C.Neelap,Education Officer and the principals Shri.Ramesh Togarwar,Kv Steelplant,Smt.V.Gowri,KV NAD & Shri.G.Narasimham,KV No.1,Srivijaya Nagar.

• Guidance & Counseling classes for classes X & XII are conducted on 28th & 29th Nov 2009 by Mr.Srinivasa Reddy, Psychologist & M.D of SAT Solutions.

• On 24/10/09,Saturday ,classes IV & V have gone for Excursion to Kailasagiri.300 Students and escort teachers accompanied them.

• Rs.55,500 /- collected by students of this Vidyalaya and donated to "Cancer Patient Aid Society ", Mumbai.

• Social Science Exhibition is held in the Vidyalaya on 13th and 14th October, 2009.

• Advocacy programme for parents is held on 9th October in the school premises.

• Rs.11,416/- is collected by the students and donated to smile foundation.

• Smt.Suman Sharma,PRT of our Vidylaya Transferred to KV Jalhalli ,Banglore  and relieved on 24.08.09.

• In view of the swine flu epidemic, it is decided to have the morning prayer in the class to avoid crowding and chances of spread of infection as per KV circular.

   

• Inspection was held in the Vidyalaya on 20^th August 2009. The team comprised of EO Hyderabad Region Mrs . M. Vidyalatha Rao, Mrs. V. Rajeshwari Principal KV INS Kalinga, Mr. DS Shastry Principal NSB 1, Mr. M Seetharamaiah, Principal NSB 2 and Mr. Subba Rao , Officiating Principal KV Vizianagram.
